PT. NIRA AGRO CONTINENTAL, a company dealing in agribusiness, as the producer and an agricultural products distributor of horticultural and agricultural commodities, under the brand name “ NIRA agro ” ( registered trademark) , with the head office based in Pondok Aren, Tangerang, Indonesia.
PT. NIRA AGRO CONTINENTAL was established in early 1998, where it initially produced and distributed Crystallized Palm Sugar under the brand name “ NIRA Palm Sugar “ . The distribution area had coveraged both local modern markets i.e. Hypermarkets, Supermarkets, Wholesalers & Mini Markets, and international export markets i.e. Netherlands.
In the middle of 1998, PT. NIRA AGRO CONTINENTAL started to concentrate in the development of Brown Sugar ( Brown Sugar Super) production as a core business, with the effort of constantly training to local farmers in Middle Java area and West Java area to have a better monitoring coverage as well as continuous and constant supply to the main storage facility in Tangerang. To maintain the quality and product image, the Brown Sugar always proceed through a well-maintained and tight Quality Control process for both physical appearance and taste. The Brown Sugar products are packed in an air-tight packaging for long-lasting quality and hygiene. The local modern market includes Hypermarkets, Supermarkets, Minimarket, P& D Stores, and international export markets, such as Saudi Arabia, Australia and Singapore.
Currently, due to the increasing demands which are not limited to Brown Sugar commodity only, and the effort to expand the market, PT. NIRA AGRO CONTINENTAL provide various agricultural commodities such as: Bitter Nut Cracker, Peanuts, Horticultural and Agricultural products and also Fishery commodities. Finally, by an intensive research, the latest development products and cooperation relationship with industries have produced and distributed commodities such as Bricket Salt, Refined Salt and Sweet Soy Sauce. These products currently are already available throughout the modern markets still under the packaging brand name “ NIRA agro “ .
To support future plans, expansions and to meet the international standard in retail business, and also as one of the requirements of effective and fixed working timetable. At the moment PT. NIRA AGRO CONTINENTAL has its own EAN Barcode Number which is internationally recognized, as being the member of EAN Indonesia/ GS1 Indonesia ( Global Standard First Indonesia) with Company Prefix no. 899 4220 and GLN no. 8994220017004. Our products under the brand name “ NIRA agro ” have been registered in the EAN Barcode List.
